My journey to yoga began as a way to connect to my love of movement and rehabilitate my injuries from years of rhythmic gymnastics. I became fascinated by the healing and introspective qualities of synchronizing breath, movement, and mental focus.
My practice continues to evolve, and has supported me through various phases of life. From my initial introduction to the discipline of Ashtanga, to a more playful, acrobatic vinyasa style.
Now, my experience as a massage therapist informs my yoga practice and teachings to include nourishing, therapeutic elements, facilitating more sustainable movement. I teach from a simple place of creating awareness by aligning the body intelligently, expanding breath with depth, and directing attention within. My hope is to create a setting for students to experience themselves more deeply, and listen to the ways their inner wisdom communicates through the body.
I provide detail focused, therapeutic massage treatments, accompanied with fire, dynamic and facial cupping. My continually growing knowledge of the mechanics of movement allows me to work intentionally to promote healthy range of motion in a relaxed setting.
